Disposable Hairdressing Towels: What UK Buyers Tend to Specify
In the United Kingdom and Ireland the product is usually bought as a hairdressing towel. The difference from a "salon towel" enquiry is mostly vocabulary, but the vocabulary carries the specification with it.
What "hairdressing" implies in practice
The towel is sized around the wash basin and the colouring station, not around a spa treatment bed. That pushes the conversation towards shorter lengths and towards bulk packs that sit near the backwash rather than single sealed pieces.
The recorded range
Our towel range covers lengths of 40, 50, 60, 70 or 80 cm at widths of 30 or 40 cm, in 40–130 GSM, in plain, pearl or F texture. White and black are the recorded colours; any other colour is confirmed per project rather than held as stock.
Fold and pack
Folded bulk is the recorded packing for the towel records. The unit count per pack and per carton is confirmed at quotation, because it follows from the fold and from how the salon stores the supply.
What to put in a brief
Basin or station dimensions, the number of services per day, whether the towel is used wet or dry, the fold the dispensers accept, and the annual quantity. Those five answers fix most of the specification before any sample is made.
One caution on wording
Environmental wording that applies to 100% viscose or 100% cotton cannot be carried onto a polyester blend. If the pack needs a claim, the blend has to be chosen with that claim in mind.
The hairdressing format sits on the hair salon page; the wider range is under disposable towels.
