Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about Jaroll's disposable spunlace nonwoven towels, product development, private-label orders, and export coordination.

What products and services does Jaroll provide?
Jaroll is a Qingdao, China-based manufacturer of disposable spunlace nonwoven products for professional-use environments. Our confirmed core range includes salon towels, beauty and spa towels, face towels, bath towels, fitness towels and pet-care towels. We support distributors, brand owners and OEM customers with specification development, sample confirmation, private-label packaging, bulk production and export coordination.
Can I customize material, size, GSM and packaging?
Yes. We can discuss material, size, GSM, texture, color, folding method, packaging, branding, labels, barcodes and carton information. Available materials include Viscose, Viscose / Polyester, Cotton, Wood Pulp / Polyester and Wood Pulp / Polypropylene. The final combination must be confirmed for the specific SKU, sample, written specification and quotation.
    Which packaging formats are available?
Face towels can use pull-out packaging in bags or boxes. Disposable towels and bath towels are available as folded bulk packs or individually wrapped pieces. Pull-out and roll formats are not available for disposable towels or bath towels. Pack count, inner packaging, cartons, labels and private-label details are confirmed by project.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ depends on the product line, material, size, color, packaging and private-label requirements. The following usual MOQs apply to private-label projects and are calculated separately for each SKU, size, color and packaging artwork: bagged face towels usually start at 10,000 packs; boxed face towels usually start at 5,000 boxes; disposable towels and bath towels usually start at 40,000 pieces per SKU. Custom bag production usually starts at about 30,000 bags. If a first order produces 10,000 packs, the buyer bears the cost of the remaining custom bags; Jaroll can store them free for one year and may dispose of them after that period. We do not offer a neutral generic packaging format. Jaroll-branded products may be available from stock; please ask sales to confirm the SKU, availability and MOQ.
What is the standard production lead time?
For regular private-label projects where the specification, sample, final artwork, quantity and order conditions have been confirmed, factory production usually takes about 20 working days. This covers private-label packaging procurement, production and inspection. At the end of this period, the goods are completed at the factory and ready to be arranged for container loading. Special materials, complex packaging, large quantities and peak-season production require confirmation in the quotation or pro forma invoice.
When does the production lead time start, and does it include shipping?
The production period starts only when both the deposit has been received and the final packaging artwork has been approved; if the two dates differ, the later date is used. The approximately 20 working days cover factory completion and readiness for container loading. Booking, container loading and international transit are not included and are confirmed separately in the logistics plan.
Can I request samples, and are they free?
Yes. Please provide the application, destination market and preliminary specification so we can determine whether an existing sample or a custom sample is appropriate. Sample timing depends on the requirements for existing samples, custom product samples or printed packaging samples; we do not publish one fixed timeline for all sample types. Standard product samples are usually free, while the customer pays international courier charges. If custom bags, color boxes or other custom packaging are required, the customer usually pays the packaging supplier's sampling fee. Quantity, courier method, exact costs and whether any cost can be credited against a bulk order are confirmed in writing before dispatch.
Which payment methods, trade terms and export documents are available?
We accept bank transfer (T/T) and letter of credit (L/C). Customers may provide their destination port and preferred trade term; EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP or other arrangements are confirmed in the project quotation. Production timing and international transit are confirmed separately. Export documents and product information are discussed according to the product, destination and order requirements; the document issuer, cost and validity must be confirmed before ordering.
Are all Jaroll products biodegradable or compostable?
No. Environmental claims cannot be applied to every product. Cotton, viscose and Lyocell are biodegradable materials, so the claim depends on the final composition: a product body made solely of 100% Viscose, 100% Cotton, or Viscose / Lyocell may be described as biodegradable when the final specification and supporting documentation have been reviewed. This does not cover packaging. Products containing Polyester or Polypropylene must not be described as 100% biodegradable. We do not claim compostability, a fixed decomposition period, no microplastics, or compostability certification without product-specific supporting evidence.
Are the towels resistant to hair dye, peroxide or bleach?
We do not make a blanket performance claim for all salon towels. If a project requires resistance to hair dyes, peroxide or bleach, the SKU, chemical, concentration, contact time, temperature, test method and acceptance criteria must be agreed and tested before any claim is made.
    How do you control quality?
Our confirmed process includes sampling, written specification confirmation, sample approval and production-stage quality control. Each project should use its approved material, dimensions, GSM, texture, color, piece weight, packaging and sample as inspection references. Specific inspection items and acceptance criteria are confirmed according to the specification and order quality requirements. We do not claim that every batch receives biodegradability testing or comprehensive laboratory testing.
What is the shelf life and how should the products be stored?
All dry disposable towels, bath towels and face towels have a usual shelf life of three years from the production date when the original sales package or individual wrapper remains sealed and intact. Store products indoors in a clean, cool, dry and ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight, high heat, moisture, contamination, strong odours and damaged packaging; keep products and cartons off the floor and away from damp walls. After an outer sales pack is opened, actual storage time depends on the environment, handling and resealing. Our practical experience is usually about six months, but we recommend using opened products as soon as possible. Once an individual wrapper is opened, please use the product promptly.
Can Jaroll support product compliance, certification or third-party inspection?
Requirements differ by destination, intended use, sales channel and labelling. Please provide the destination, application and required documents so that the product and packaging can be checked before confirmation. If third-party inspection by SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas or another agency is required, raise it during quotation and production planning; timing, cost and requirements are confirmed by project. Certificates are confirmed per product: we can only state that a certificate applies once a product-specific, valid certificate has been verified.
What should I do if there is a quality issue?
Please retain the order number, SKU, batch or carton information, photos or videos, affected quantity and discovery date, then contact sales as soon as possible. Investigation, responsibility, replacement, refund or other handling are determined according to the order, contract, inspection records and the confirmed outcome between both parties.
How many samples can I get?
We can provide a few pieces to a few dozen, depending on the products you’d like to try. The samples are free, but courier charges apply and can be relatively high even for a small shipment. Let us know which products and quantities you need, and we’ll confirm the shipping cost so you can decide before we send them.
