Face Towel Sizes: the 20 cm and 30 cm Series

Two numbers settle a face-towel format before material or GSM are discussed: the width of the series, and the length of the towel within it. Get those wrong and the rest of the specification cannot fix the format.

The 20 cm series is a length decision

The 20 cm series is 20 cm wide and is supplied in lengths of 10, 15, 20 or 22 cm, packed as a pop-up bag. GSM runs 40 to 100. A 10 cm length is a cleansing pad that covers fingers and palm; 22 cm covers a full face and neck in one pass. The width is fixed, so the only choice a buyer makes is how far the towel reaches.

The 30 cm series is a fold decision

The 30 cm series is 30 cm wide and quarter-folded into a box, at the same 40 to 100 GSM. The width now covers a full face without repositioning, and the format is built for a box on a trolley rather than a bag on a counter. A quarter-folded towel in a box cannot be pulled one at a time: if pop-up dispensing is the requirement, this series is the wrong answer regardless of price.

The spa and beauty formats sit outside both series

Six recorded dimensions are listed separately for spa and beauty work: 15 × 20, 20 × 20, 20 × 30, 25 × 30, 30 × 30 and 30 × 40 cm, at 50 to 100 GSM, packed as folded spa packs. The narrower 15 × 20 and 20 × 20 formats are the ones designed to sit under a mask or over a treatment area; the 30 × 40 is a towel for the chest or the treatment couch, not for the face.

Why a listed width is not a promise

A listed length and a listed width do not mean every pairing exists. The recorded option sets are real and producible, but the combination is confirmed per project, and not every grade is available in every dimension. Treat the list as the range of discussion, not as a catalogue where every cell is filled.

The measured question: what surface the towel has to cover

Once the format is shortlisted, area decides the weight. A 20 × 20 cm towel is 0.04 m²; at 80 GSM that is 0.04 × 80, or 3.2 g of fibre per piece. A 25 × 30 cm towel is 0.075 m², or about 6 g at the same weight. A 30 × 40 cm towel is 0.12 m², about 9.6 g. The last format carries three times the fibre of the first, which is why a single price per piece across a face-towel range does not mean much.

Recorded dimensions for each series are on the disposable face towel page; the folded spa formats are covered under disposable towels.
