6 Questions to Ask Before You Quote a 40×80 Disposable Salon Towel

40×80 cm is a common size for disposable salon towels. But for a distributor or private-label buyer, the size alone is not a usable product brief.

Before requesting a quote, ask these six questions:

1. What is the intended service: wash basin, colour service, barbering, beauty or general salon use?
2. Which material and composition are required for that use?
3. What GSM is needed for the target experience and price level?
4. Which texture should the customer handle: plain, pearl, waffle or another pattern?
5. Should the towel be white, black or another agreed colour?
6. How should it be folded and packed: bulk bag or individual pack?

The same 40×80 cm open size can become very different products once these choices change. A clear brief helps avoid samples that look right on paper but do not fit the end user’s routine.
