    Procurement guidance

How should the specification be read?

The listed dimensions, 40–100 GSM range, colors, textures, and packaging formats are not arbitrary combinations. The approved sample and written specification control the final product.

    Material, GSM, texture, and size

Material options include 100% Viscose, 100% Cotton, Viscose / Polyester, and Viscose / Lyocell. Exact blend ratios and the final specification are confirmed per project. GSM measures weight per area; evaluate it with dimensions, texture, piece weight, and the intended facial-care workflow.

    Packaging and private label

The 30 cm series uses quarter-folded towels in boxes. The towels are non-interfolded and cannot use pop-up dispensing. Confirm unit count, inner pack, carton, artwork, label, barcode, and printed claims per project before production.

What can be discussed for this project?

    • Material, dimensions, GSM, texture, color, and fold, subject to compatibility review
    • Unit pack, unit count, inner pack, carton, and shipping marks
    • Private-label artwork, printing, label, barcode, and carton information
Review the OEM and private-label process

What should the quote request include?

    • Destination market, sales channel, and intended use
    • Order quantity and estimated annual volume
    • Material, unfolded dimensions, GSM, texture, color, and fold
    • Unit count, unit pack, inner pack, and carton requirements
    • Artwork, label, barcode, shipping marks, and required documents

How is a project specification confirmed?

Each stage uses the current written requirements. Production starts from the approved specification, sample, and packaging artwork, not from a web-page range alone.

    1. Step 1Requirement review
    2. Step 2Specification recommendation
    3. Step 3Sampling quotation
    4. Step 4Sample approval
    5. Step 5Packaging approval
    6. Step 6Production
    7. Step 7Shipment

    Which environmental wording applies?

    Material claim boundary

Cotton, viscose and Lyocell are biodegradable materials, so the claim depends on the final composition. A towel body made solely of 100% Viscose, 100% Cotton, or Viscose / Lyocell is biodegradable, confirmed with the final written specification and supporting documentation; this excludes packaging. Viscose / Polyester blends are not described as 100% biodegradable. No fixed degradation time is claimed.

    Towel-body claim boundary

A compostable description may be discussed only after the final written specification confirms a 100% Viscose towel body, under suitable composting conditions and subject to local facilities and regulations; packaging, labels, adhesives, and non-viscose parts are excluded. It does not apply automatically to the Cotton, Viscose / Polyester, or Viscose / Lyocell options.

Frequently asked questions about Disposable Face Towels — 30 cm Wide Series

Jaroll is one of the drafting organizations of GB/T 40276-2021, China's national standard for soft nonwoven towels. We have years of face-towel manufacturing experience and have produced private-label face towels for hundreds of brands worldwide. We help buyers choose materials, GSM, texture, folding and packaging, and balance softness with resistance to surface fuzzing. This experience helps avoid common specification and development mistakes. Production follows the approved sample and written specification.

In our face-towel projects, 60–95 GSM is the mainstream range. 80 GSM is a popular choice because it balances absorbency and price. Choose the final GSM together with the material, size, texture and sample performance. Our broader face-towel specification discussion range remains 40–100 GSM, with the final combination confirmed per project.

Choose the 30 cm series when the facial-care workflow calls for more coverage and quarter-folded towels in a box. It cannot use pop-up dispensing. Confirm the exact length, GSM, texture, color, and pack count before quotation.

Not automatically. The listed dimensions, 40–100 GSM range, and Plain, Pearl, or F textures are discussion ranges. Jaroll confirms the workable combination in the sample and written specification.

No. The 30 cm series uses quarter-folded towels in boxes; the towels are non-interfolded and cannot use pop-up dispensing. Unit count, artwork, label, barcode, inner pack, and carton are confirmed per project.

No. The 30 cm series uses quarter-folded towels in boxes. The travel pack uses a resealable pouch with quarter-fold or sixth-fold towels. Both formats are non-interfolded and are not pop-up formats.

Provide the selected length, 30 cm width, material, GSM, texture, color, pack type, unit count, artwork, order quantity, destination market, channel, and required documents.

Based on our production experience with towels of the same GSM, cotton has a more textured feel and the highest cost. Viscose feels smoother and softer than cotton. Lyocell feels firmer; its absorbency and lint shedding are similar to viscose. Polyester feels soft and costs less, but absorbs less and is prone to lint shedding. In viscose/polyester blends, increasing the polyester content generally lowers cost and absorbency while making surface fuzzing more likely. The final feel and performance also depend on the blend ratio and spunlace process, so we recommend comparing approved samples before choosing a material.

We can provide a few pieces to a few dozen, depending on the products you’d like to try. The samples are free, but courier charges apply and can be relatively high even for a small shipment. Let us know which products and quantities you need, and we’ll confirm the shipping cost so you can decide before we send them.

What changed: Clarified packaging: the 30 cm series uses quarter-folded towels in boxes and cannot use pop-up dispensing; 20 cm pop-up bags and resealable, non-interfolded travel packs are separate formats. Material options and the same-GSM fiber comparison remain unchanged.
